How far in advance should I book a Turkey yacht charter?
Daniel AsmusYacht charter broker, DMA Yachting
Six to nine months ahead for July and August, and the most-loved gulets and larger crewed boats go earlier still. Turkey has the strongest private-gulet market in the Med, but the genuinely good ones, the boats with great crews and recent refits, are a limited set that repeat clients rebook early.
For June, September and the shoulder months, three to five months usually gives a real choice, and late availability does appear. Peak August without flexibility is the hardest combination.
Not sure yet? Inquire anyway. If the trip is even half likely, it is the right time to look, and asking costs nothing.
