Should I buy charter cancellation insurance for Turkey?

We recommend it. Cancellation and curtailment insurance protects your charter fee if illness, travel disruption or other events force you to cancel or cut the trip short, and charter contracts have firm cancellation terms because the owner holds the yacht exclusively for you.
It costs a small fraction of the charter fee and is simply sensible on a booking this size. Your broker can point you to suitable trip cover when you book.
This is separate from our professional insurance as your broker and from the yacht’s own insurance; those protect the transaction and the vessel, while cancellation cover protects your plans.
