Fully crewed or bareboat in Turkey?

Chris de Kock, yacht charter broker with DMA YachtingChris de Kock

In Turkey the crewed experience is the whole point. Gulets and crewed motor yachts come with a captain and cook as standard, so you are a guest, not the crew: meals cooked, cabins kept, tender and toys run for you, and a captain who knows the coast intimately.

Bareboat sailing does exist in Turkey for qualified skippers, but it is a small slice of the market and not what most people come here for. The magic of a Blue Cruise is being hosted on a beautiful wooden boat, not managing one.

If budget is the concern, the lever is boat size, age or dates rather than dropping the crew; talk to us and we find the version that works. More: gulet vs motor yacht.
