Charter questions

When is the final payment due, and how does the APA work in Turkey?

The balance of your charter fee, plus the APA if your yacht uses one, is due about six weeks before the charter starts; your agreement shows the exact date.

On a gulet, there is often no APA at all: food and drinks run through a board package, and fuel and mooring inside Turkish waters are frequently included in the rate, so there is little to reconcile. On a motor yacht you more often have a classic APA of roughly 25 to 35%, spent and accounted for by the captain, with the unspent balance refunded.

Either way we confirm up front exactly what sits inside the price and what does not, so a gulet board package and a motor-yacht APA can be compared like for like.
